Delete your account

In short: you can delete your ClubLono account at any time, either from inside the app or by emailing us. Deletion removes your account, your personal profile, and your clubs. Some data must be retained for legal or financial-record reasons, as set out below.

Delete from inside the app (fastest)

The quickest way to delete your account is from within ClubLono:

  1. Open ClubLono on your phone or at app.heylono.com.
  2. Sign in if you are not already.
  3. Open Settings (the gear icon) and scroll to Danger zone.
  4. Tap Delete account.
  5. Confirm twice. Deletion is permanent and cannot be undone.

If you own a club, ClubLono will transfer ownership to your longest-tenured cohost. If a club has no cohost, you'll need to wipe it from Settings → Danger zone → Wipe all data, or invite a cohost first, before account deletion can proceed.

Delete by email

If you cannot access the app — for example, you've lost your phone or forgotten your password — email us and we'll process the deletion manually.

  • Send your request to hello@clublono.com.
  • From the email address registered on the account, with subject "Delete my account".
  • We will action it within 30 days and confirm by reply.

If you subscribed via App Store or Google Play

Cancelling a paid Premium subscription is separate from deleting your ClubLono account. To cancel billing:

  • iOS: Settings → [your name] → Subscriptions → ClubLono → Cancel.
  • Android: Play Store → Profile → Payments & subscriptions → Subscriptions → ClubLono → Cancel.
  • Web: Open ClubLono, then Settings → Subscription → Manage billing.

If you want both — delete the account and stop billing — cancel the subscription first, then follow method 1 or 2.

What gets deleted

What is retained, and why

Some records cannot be removed at the moment of deletion for legal or operational reasons:

Players who joined as a guest (no account)

Guest players have no ClubLono account — there is nothing for ClubLono to delete on your behalf, because we never associated your name with an email or login. Your name appears only in the host's club data. To have your guest name removed from a club's queue or history, contact the host directly.

How long deletion takes

Account and personal-profile deletion is immediate from the app. Background storage cleanup (photos, chat attachments) and propagation to backups complete within 30 days. Financial records subject to the retention period above are removed when that period expires.
